holla Im a first timer to pv and was wondering if malecon- downtown and oldtown were all the same place. This BB has been great.Thanks to all who answer. 16 days and counting, this BB almost makes me feel like im already there.

hi there,
the melecon and the old part of pvr are very close, infact once you get to the end of the melecon just keep walking and you be there as soon as you get over the bridge. you will love it. as you go over the bridge, you will see stairs going down, which look like they just go to a small cafe. go down there are markets and many small bars and resturants, the path way will lead you through old vallarta. many people miss this make sure you do not. we will be ther the 1st feb untill the 15th , you never know we may run in to eachother, if not have a great time in pvr.
