Drink Service @ the Riu Jalisco

Started February 1, 2004 · 3,640 views · 4 posts
We were at the Riu Caribe in Cancun last November and they had waitresses that came around poolside to take drink orders. This was a wonderful service. They were there asking if you wanted another before you were even finished the one they just brought!!!

Just wondering if this is standard service at Riu hotels and if the Riu Jalisco in particular offers this service.

Do you know of any other hotels in PV that offer this service???

The Riu Jalisco does not have any poolside (or any where else for that matter) waiters/waitresses. You have to go to the bar to get your drinks, although there are a lot of bars and it is not that big a delal.

Rio Jalisco does have drinks in your rooms though I belive and they replace what ever you have drank to. So I heard.

I concur with all of the others. Stayed there a little less than a year ago. Dispensers and stocked fridge in room is really sweet and convenient for the wind down at night, etc. The main adult pool includes a swim up bar to make things really convenient.
