Fiesta Americana PVR or Palladium past Nuevo Vallarta

We have a choice of 2 great deals at either the Fiesta Americana and Palladium. We are a family of 4 with a 5yr old and 9 yr old.
Wondering which hotel is best (i realize both very different).
Palladium - Am worried the water off the beach is too rocky and not sure if it is too isolated.
Fiesta Americana - Does anyone know if there is a kids pool. Some sites say yes, some say just 1 pool. Also, we have only every stayed in Nuevo Vallarta. In Puerto Vallarta on the beach are the vendors invasive there? We are looking at AI packages at both hotels. Any feedback on either hotel much appreciated. Thanks.

I love the Fiesta Americana hotel, the location is fantastic, just a short taxi ride down town. There is only one pool with a kids pool in it. the beach vendors are not invasive as they are not allowed on the hotel grounds and a no gracias soon has them on there way. I have bought some of my best stuff from them though. We had our third stay there in October last year and enjoyed it thoroughly.....
