First Time to PV...Staying @ Golden Crown Paradise...

Hi Everyone :)

My name is Ashley and I am going to Puerto Vallarta on Dec 10th-18th.. first time ever going to mexico. I am staying at the GCP and have read really great reviews about it. Seeing that this is our first time to Mexico (his first time out of Canada all together) I was just wondering if there was anything that we should definatly do on our first time there. Any specific places we should see?

And also.. is the GCP really close to Dowtown PV? Cause I wanna get in some really good shopping and such...

Ok any tips or anything would be really really appreciated.... also if anyone is going around the same time, let me know! :)

8) Make sure you have at least ONE lunch at the palapa - the grilled mahi-mahi sandwich is the BEST!!!! Of course, Mr Crown would suggest the double cheeseburger and papasfritas (??) and cervasa quatro asatunas(??) - I know my spelling is probably all wrong!

Long time, no post. Great place to stay. Trying to line something up for Feb, but lost out on a really hot deal for that time last week. Still trying.

Cool, It looks like that might be our time frame for this next trip. Did I mention we will be traveling with neighbors (ARGHH). They have been to FLA many times and Kay thinks that they would rather stay along the Mayan suncoast, although my choice is always PV and the GCP. I hope to find a hot deal in the next couple of weeks.

That is fine Chuckster, bring them along, we will teach them what life is really all about... we will sit up with Aldo swapping stories as the ladies look lovely around the pool or along the beach.. cocktails on me the first night... LOL we are looking forward to getting out of town for a few weeks and just kick back and let the GCP magic take over.
