? for hotel experts

I only planned on visiting for a week and made my hotel res. but I changed my mind and will be staying an extra week. Looking to stay at either posada roger, rio, or something else fairly inexpensive for the second week, even hotel azteca would be ok but no pool. My question is can I find a clean room without a res. or book and not like the place. Also if I decide to stay overnight in yelapa will most hotels keep luggage until check-in so it wont get wet or drug around. thx for the help if you can answer- jeff

I will be there feb. 20- Mar 6, counting the days.

I am sure it can be done... during your first week, take one day and hit some of the smaller hotels and resorts... i take it that the Pescador is full that second week.. I am sure if you can get into a place, that you could make arrangements with them to keep your luggage while you spend an overnighter out in Yelapa.... Also, check with some of the condo associations, maybe they had a cancellation and you can snatch a condo reasonable... just some ideas for you....

Thanks tom, I went ahead and booked a room at hotel eloisa for 5 nights and then back to el pescador for the last 2, I like mix up my hotel stays so I can get different views and opinions of hotels. 6 nights at el pescador, 5 nights at eloisa and 3 nights at meza del mar. If I overnight in yelapa I will only be out 1 nights room and my luggage will be safe.
