Getaway Club

Hi Lisa. By using the Search option in the toolbar and typing in \"Getaway\" you will find several references to this hotel, most of them negative. My husband and I have never stayed there but we walked through it one time and were very unimpressed. That doesn`t mean it`s not a good choice for you, though. My suggestion would be to book a hotel on Playa Los Muertos, such as Hotel Los Arcos, Tropicana, Suites Emperador or the San Marino. Some of them have all inclusive options, they are on one of the best and most fun beaches and are right in the action. Whatever you decide, I hope you enjoy your holiday. Welcome to the board.

Lisa J...agree with all previous posts that unless you are 18 to 22 and looking for \"spring break\" atmosphere (plus zero beach) the Getaway Club would not be my first choice...however, your looking for an \"in town\" location, with access to dining and I assume some nightlife with the \"explore\" factor and nice strolling beaches...bit of a juxtapostion...I would agree with others here on where to stay based on your requirements and there certainly is much to explore in PV itself, but having said that would advise venturing north and south of PV proper to find your \"strolling beaches\" and \"places to explore\"...Mismaloya, Sayulita, Bucerias, Punta Mita, Yelapa and Pitillal all await you with so much to offer...sonofdob.

2002 was great, 2005 was a disaster.

Great Balls of Fire... that was one excellent report and reveiw of that place... WOW... talk about an eye opener... YIKES...

my vote is the Buenaventura... or if you wish check out the Golden Crown Paradise... great adults only all-inclusive....
