My wife and I have been there twice. We arrived last August right when they changed the name of the resort. Nothing had changed. Still an awsome staff, drinks flow freely and I thought the food was a little better then the first trip. You will be in walking distance of downtown. However, watch the time share people and people trying to sell you
tours. That was the only bad thing about walking downtown. The first year we went to Robertos for dinner, very good. Last year we went to LaPamarama (sp) also very good.. You can dine on the rooftop and watch a wonderful sunset. Another couple that we were with went to LaCliff. It is a kind of out of town, but I was told it was worth the taxi cost to go there. Concerning the pool bar.... I have read that the pool bar is not open due to the storm. Both years that I have been there I have never seen it open. The first year there was a bell to ring and the bartender would come around and get your drink order (sometimes).
First time vistors to hotel: Remember to get a TV remote at the front desk. We always got a inroom safe also. It was like $20.00 U.S for a week. There are order forms for breakfast to be deliveried to your room. It is breads, fruits, and other little stuff like that. Our first time at the resort, we did not know about it until the day before we were to leave. Other then that I can not think of much else right now.. If you have any questions, please email me
