we just got back to regina this morning and had an awesome time at the getaway. the food was great. ( and no shortage) . the drinks were awesome(again no shortage). the activity staff were great to (especially darla, ouch!!!). the beach is at 99% with a couple of little rocks here and there but no problem it was full of people every day . i saw them fix the steps down to the beach one day they were re tiling them , thats all i saw them do . everything else is there and complete. the first floor rooms are still closed and i dont think they are even working on them . but the outside of the rooms are complete so u cant tell unles can see through curtains. they do however need more for younger age 18-35 to do in the evening. some nights it gets good in the lobby with kareoke and drinkning games. during the day lots to do . the place is nice and within walking distance to downtown. i pairasailed and checked out the other hotels and this one looked the best around there. i would strongly recomend it to anyone that want a good time. the hotel took a few cracks during the last earthqauke the other day but they were right on top of it fixing the cracks. if need more info drop me a email at finkc@hotmail.com
