Golden Crown Paradise - A few questions

Started March 29, 2005 · 8,409 views · 7 posts
I am heading down to the GCP April 12th. Although we are a little scared based on som negative postings here, I am hoping for the best. I have been all over Mexico, Caribean and Tahiti, so my expectations are reasonable. This is our first time to PV and I am hoping it will be like Cabo was before it took off.

ANyway enough about me. I have a few questions that I hope can be anwered here...

First and most important, is there a mini bar in the room?

Next and almost as important, I understand that GCP does not have a swim-up bar, but I guess I can go next door and swim at CPC. How far is it to go to the other place and exactly how does it work eating over there as well?

I love Mexican beer especially Pacifico, but I hear it is Sol on tap (Not bad). Can I get a bottle of beer on the property?

Finally (do you see a theme), what is the best Tequila at the GCP?

Before anyone flames me for only being interested in drinking, I do have other plans, but those have all been addressed in the postings of others.

Thanks and Salude
G.

Re:Golden Crown Paradise - A few questions
i have gone out to trip advisor as well.. and found they have the two resorts mixed together... and it was quite confusing on which resort they were talking about sometimes...

i realize that i am predjudice here... but i still say you will have a great time there...
Re:Golden Crown Paradise - A few questions
Thanks to all who have replied to my questions. 12 Days to go.

I have read some of you say that the staff will prepare little \"extras\" such as prefered dinner reservations, flowers in the shape of hearts or even a little sign. My wife and I are enjoying our 1 year anniversary and her 40th Birthday while we are there. Is there an e-mail address, where I can let them know what we are celebrating? I am not looking for a hand-out but a little something special which can make our trip even more memorable is always appreciated.

Thanks again
