Golden Crown Tips?

My husband and I will be leaving on April 23 for a six night stay at the Golden Crown. We will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. Is it worth it to contact the hotel for anything special such as a room in a certain area? I understand all of the views are great, but if anyone has any tips, whether it be rooms or anything else, they would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the GCP!! Also congrats on your 20th anniversary. When do you get in on the 23rd. We will be there the 22nd - 29th, so we can assist you with your requests as well. This will be our tenth trip to this resort. If you want send me a PM or e-mail me directly and i can forward your requests right down to the staff. You can check into a room upgrade at the time of check it to see what is available. Right now i believe the resort is running 100% capacity with a lot of the resorts in Cancun still not quite fully functional. they do offer a candle light dinner on the beach (i have heard for like $75 USD). They will also get a special bouquet of flowers for you if you wish for like $35 - $50 USD... You will enjoy this property. Not too small, not too big, lots of great people to wait on you, and make your vacation and anniversary special....

If you used a travel agent, have them contact the GCP and advise it is a specail occassion for you, they are pretty good about making your stay memorable, we are headed there for our 9th visit in May, you will enjoy.

Does the GCP have a website? Might be down next February and we are interested in staying in town for 1 week.

With regards to GCP, I have not been there personally, but I certainly am going to consider it for another trip thanks to the information that I have read here!

thank you.... Part of the growing process is being able to admit your errors. I think we all stray from the topic now and then but usually everything gets straight again. Sometimes I like to see where these tangents angle off to. I usually leads to charlieb and his quest for world domination. :roll:
