Just remember if you are planning a trip for April 2006, that Easter falls on the 16th. In Mexico Easter is their big holiday for the year. The week before and the week after will absolutely be packed with nationals. So any pool or beach, restaurant or taco stand, nightclub or bar in and around PV will be crowded.

Lori is so right there as well... April and Easter is a huge travel time for the locals to come to PV and relax and celebrate the Easter season... so the town will be crowded... not to mention as it has been many times, with the actions and reactions of Wilma on the Cancun side of Mexico, there is going to be a lot of people looking for a new place to stay as the reconstruction of Cancun progresses. Everybody thinks that it will be done in six months or so... It took the Sheraton after Kenna almost two years to get done, they spent the first six months or so fighting with the insurance companies, the next six months negotiating the contractors, and another six months or so to get it all done... so depending how fast everybody wants to work things out in Cancun, will be the tell of the tape ....
