Has any one stayed at Solare Resort Vallarta?

We have been twice to the Solare. We first went in October of 2000. It was right after the rainy season. We went again in May 2001 just before the rainy season. The beach is a nice walking beach. We really enjoyed the resort. The nightly shows were great in October, but so so in May because most of the staff had changed. The staff was helpful and friendly. The pools were great! The Solare was one of the best values of all of our travels.

My husband & I stayed there in January of 2001. We had a blast. The food was good but you just get kind of tired of buffet food after awhile. The staff was wonderful. We walked along the beach to a little town called Buceiros (sp?) and shopped. The also have excellent nightly shows. They have a talented staff. It was really a neat place.
