having visitors in your hotel room

On my last visit to PV last summer. I had an occurence where I wanted a visitor to spend the night in my hotel room. This was only possible when we paid the night desk man $100 pesos. I understand the policiythat we booked a douuble ocupancy and to invite a friend to the room we payed a supplment. At our hotel it was only $100 pesos to allow my fiend to spend the night. At first I was shocked as this not a requirement in US or canada. I fullyunderstand the saftey precautions involved. I am travelling solo in o and wonder if my friend willbe able to stay with me in my one bed room suite? I am willing t pay a supplement to have him there. Do any of you know the policies around sharing you suite for rendevouz. Obviously my friend will not partake in any All inclusive fac ilities offered for hotel guests. As a single travellor do i not get to invite a man to my room? I ask this questijon out of tru respect to Hotel policies.

If you want someone to stay at your hotell, then book it for two people. There are plenty of small hotels that you can go to for the night at a minimal price. If your friend REALLy want s to spend time with you, then he will be willing to pay for the hotel!
