HELP! Which hotel is best

Started March 12, 2002 · 8,383 views · 7 posts
My husband and I are spending one week in May in PV (20th wedding ann.). We are booking through a travel agent and plan to go All-Inclusive. We are looking for a hotel to match all our criteria. Criteria being: All inclusive, hotel on a nice beach for long walks and snokeling, room with oceanview balcony, close enough to walk to town or a short cab ride, night entertainment (not a must if town is within walking distance).

Have been looking at the Premier or Qualton. Travel agent suggested the Sierra Nuevo Vallarta but that looks farther from town.

Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Not sure about all inclusive (there are LOTS of great restaurants around...) but the Westin is GORGEOUS.........really puts the marriott to shame.

I too have stayed at the Holiday Inn. Its a very short ride to town (cab). There is always something happening at the pool area and the staff is really nice and are always willing to help u. And the views from the balcony are breathtaking.
Hope i helped.

Happy Anniversary. Have fun !!!

My wife and I have traveled to PV for over ten years. Without a doubt the finest hotel is the La Jolla De MIsmaloya. About 15 minutes south of town. All suites, all inclusive or not, your choice. Great food, Great staff, Great Pools (ask for the waiter Conrado) A truly fine hotel!
