Holiday Inn--Beach and hotel after Hurricane

Hey everyone. I was just wondering what the condition is of the Hotel and Beach after Hurricane Kenna. My Wife and I were in PV last December and it was closed. The Beach looked really bad. We were thinking of staying there this upcoming December. Has anyone stayed or visited there lately that can help. THANKS!

We were staying in our condo in the Holiday Inn Christmas week and all was well. The beach was still a mess but I have since heard that it has been rebuilt and is beautiful. Better than ever supposedly. They had a brand new beach restaurant and the pool and island were in great shape. They were still working on the boardwalk (or sea wall) and were almost finished. It will be great. Go and enjoy!

The wife and I just got back from the HI and the beach is great. From looking at picts taken years before kenna came we could tell that it used to be bigger etc... but it was just fine. The new outdoor restaraunt is great especially breakfast. Try to get a corner room in the smaller building as you will have two balconies ( one that faces the pool and one that faces the ocean) It would be worth a 10-15$ tip at the desk when your checking in to get a corner room...You will have 2 whole walls that are nothing but glass NICE!!! Raphael is also a good person to get to know while your there on your vacation (he brings the drinks to ya) We tipped a dlr. a drink and were never thirsty :) Anyway hope you have fun on your vacation and maybe later i will try and email yall some picts of the HI while we were there.
