Holiday Inn - MANY questions

Holiday Inn is in the Hotel Zone, very good location to get the bus downtown it stops right infront of the resort. Not all rooms are ocean view, so the travel agent that told you they were was not correct. I would call that travel agent back and ask them to please specify that you want an ocean front room! The area is very safe my only advise would be not to go walking on the beach after dark. I have never stayed at Holiday Inn but I have eaten in the resturants there. I have stayed next door at Villa Del Palmar for the last 14 years and enjoyed every trip! I am sure others will respond to you that have stayed in the hotel iself. Have a great trip!

I have also stayed next door at the Vila Del Palmar and have walked next door to enjoy the entertainment at the Holiday Inn. The hurricane that went thourgh there last year destroyed alot at the holiday inn but now I am sure everything is brand new and looks a lot more cleaner. A great place to stay in PVR. Great location!!!!! VERYVERY safe and also I disagree about walking along the beach at night. I have done this many times late late at night and have never felt more safer. Have fun.
