Holiday Inn Review - have stayed at Crown Paradise

Started April 5, 2004 · 2,031 views · 2 posts
Hello all,

We are planning to return to PV next month and just came upon a fabulous rate 475.00 each plus taxes (approx. $1200.00 for both my husband and I to stay at the Holiday Inn and it includes airfare, 7 nights lodging & associated taxes). It is not AI which is okay as we always ate our evening meals out anyway when we stayed at the Crown Paradise.

We absolutely loved the Crown Paradise.... and I worry I may be disappointed in the Holiday Inn, although it is a fabulous price.

Has anyone stayed there before who can give me an honest review. It appears as though all the rooms are oceanview & oceanfront is not available. I wondered about the cost of paying ala carte there.

Thanks in advance for your help. My email is tikigrl67@aol.com if you would rather email me privately.

Re:Holiday Inn Review - have stayed at Crown Paradise
The Holiday Inn is an older resort, not kept up as well as the CP, but it is still a great place to stay. They have a very large pool right next to the beach. They have a nice beach there as well. You can get a good breakfast at their beach side restaurant Quagamaya. The staff there are all friendly and helpful. The place is kept clean. While they do not have a large garden area, what they do have is beautiful. The rooms in the tall tower are larger and have a fantastic view if you are on the 9th floor or above. These rooms cost more however. I think they are older too. Hopefully you will have a good time at the HI if you know ahead that it is not a Grand Tourismo resort but a nice family resort.
