Holiday Inn ???

We will be staying at the Holiday Inn Jan 12th - 19th, just wondering what shape the hotel is in now? What about the beach???? Keep reading conflicting reports that the beach is closed. We have the AI package, whats the resturant like? Is it just buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner? Or can you get food and snacks anytime? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Restaurant overlooking the beach serves buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also have a menu, you can order club sandwiches, french fries, different items. If I remember correctly, it is only closed for a couple of hours in late afternoon while setting up the buffet for dinner. Food was very good, desserts were outstanding on the buffet. For breakfast, you can request toast and bacon, etc. They have a restaurant inside that you get a complimentary dinner for 2 at, you do have to reserve, so do it early as it fills up. It is an outstanding restaurant and you want to eat there. Great presentation, different foods, very very good. Classy for Mexico also. you might want to take a couple travel mugs down with you, the outside bar serves drinks in small styrofoam cups, you can wear a path in the beach going back and forth. My husband got a sore on his lip from the styrofoam so that tells you how much he was tipping. We took travel cups last time. nice inside open bar for early evening after the outside bar closes. Great area, I hope the beach is OK.

the holiday inn is up and running everything apart from the ground floor rooms are done... the beach is still there but not as big as it used to be... but still an amazing resort..

Can anyone tell me, do they have hairdryers and coffeemakers in the rooms at the Holiday Inn. I leave tomorrow and am trying to pack now. Thanks

yes they do haidryers coffe makers and even irons and ironing boards..
