Has anyone been to the Holiday Inn recently? We just booked an all-inclusive there for next month. I am especially curious about the pool, the service and if there are kids running around everywhere. Also, how was the health club? thanks.

We were there over Christmas. The new beach restaurant is great! The pool bar service was also very good. The pool is large and nice. Plenty of loungers and right by the beach. They did not have the kids pool in yet but heard that it is now done. There were children there when we were but there not a lot. They have some kids activities I believe.
The fitness room had all new equipment in it and is air conditioned. Girls and Guys saunas. 4 hot tubs outside next to the exercise room. The fitness room and hot tubs is in an adults only area with a small pool and a few loungers and palapas. This area is on the roof top area over the bar. There were frequently children in the hot tubs though. Sometimes not all of the hot tubs worked. The staff are very nice and eager to help. They have been working hard to rebuild following Kenna. The Jr. Suite rooms in the tall building have the BEST view from the balcony if you get a room above the ninth floor. A very nice place.
