Hotel Decameron Los Cocos, anyone been there?

what should we expect? Is there lots to do? nice beaches etc?
or should we go somewhere else?

We went to this hotel for 3 years in a row. There are 3 bars and 3 restaurants plus a disco on site. Staff was excellent (helpful, accomodating) and the hotel is kept very clean. The activities staff keeps things going with lots of activities - not much for small kids if you have them. The beach gets smaller when the water was rough. This hotel is an hour from downtown P.V. - this was a \"bummer\" if you wanted more shopping or bars/restaurants. The town of Guayabitos is a short walk from the hotel - several good eating establishments and shopping stores. We switched to the Vista Club (third visit this feb. 03) due to location to downtown P.V. and the last year at Hotel Decameron had too many young children.
