I am coming to PV in May and thought this looked like a great place. I have some concerns about the solar power only concept, plus I have a 1 yr old baby in tow. Any info would be great. I get the impression its a long way from anything else so dinning options are restricted to the hotel. Also, any info on surf/waves in the nearby area would be great.

We went to the resort inMay last year. It is quite an experience! Very remote location and all of the cabins are quite primitive.
That said; the ambience and service is excellent, although very expensive.

We drove down there a couple of years ago. It is very isolated and remote. I would not recommend it for a small child. It is beautiful and would be grat fo anniversarys or weddings etc.bettsymeister (Feb 18, 2004 07:39 p.m.):
