Hotel in where the restaurants/life is...

Anybody know something that would suit me and my wife for a few days....Ideally something about $100 a night...

Try the Tropicana or the Playa Los Arcos. Price should be about what you are looking for and are both located on the beach in old town, near everything.

I just heard from a friend that the meals at the Tropicana were horrible. But the hotel itself is wonderful..so I would suggest that you avoid all inclusive and enjoy meals elsewhere.

No, you do not need anything. As far as the Tropicana, work the site a little. the hotel is a nice basic hotel with very good staff. they do not have an all inclusive plan although they do offer Breakfast with the room. It is a limited Buffet. In my opinion, it is the best hotel on the south side. Other may differ.
