Wife and I are going to PV at Christmas and are trying to decide between doing the AI thing at Fiesta Americana or staying at the Hotel Playa Conchas Chinas.

those hotels are very differently located, Fiesta is in Hotel zone ( about 15 minutes walking distance from Downtown) Conchas chinas is on a private beach (about 15 minutes drive from downtown) Depends of what you are looking for , if you want to go downtown frequently(what i suggest) go to Fiesta, otherwise if you want to stay in a very calm and quiet place go to Conchas chinas.

Hotel Playa Conchas Chinas is a GREAT place quite nice private beach great resturant on the beach. The bus is a fun 5/10 Min. ride 7cents to town. I had friends stay at the Fiesta, they did not like it
