hotel zone vs downtown

ok maybe someone will answer
i travel solo...not looking 4 love..
can get a good deal in hotel zone or downtown(tropicana)
i like o hang at beach during the day...eat/drink @ nite
and want to be ale to walk most places...
any help....chris has helped just looking for more :)

Personally, I prefer downtown. Lots of restaurants, and I like to walk around a lot during the day checking out shops, etc. Los Muertos beach is right there so everything is handy.

This might be a good place for you -- it is more in the \"mix\" of things than Tropicana and right on the beach with a couple of pools.
