How far is Royal Decameron from downtown PV? Is there a lot to do in Nuevo Vallarta?

There is good shopping available in Bucerias, much of the time the same trinkets and items that are available in El Centro, and at a fraction of the price. Thus is the beauty of Bucerias, on top of it being in such a lovely locale.

However, there is a larger selection of shopping and a wider variety of stores in PV proper. There are cases to be made for both.

Pretty sure the cab fare was $17 USD from RD to downtown PVR (as of Oct 2004) Well worth the trip - check out Andales -for dancing and possible Donkey rides !
