How far is the Canto del Sol from the Krystal?

Started May 18, 2005 · 3,606 views · 4 posts
A group of us are heading to PV in June for a wedding. Most guests will be staying at the Canto del Sol. I was able to get a better deal at the Krystal. How far as the two hotels from each other? Also, what other hotels are close to Canto del Sol? Thanks!

Re:How far is the Canto del Sol from the Krystal?
Im stayed at Canto last year and am going back this year in June and the Krystal is where Christine club is and it was like a 25 min walk or 2-3$ cab ride! PS we were drunk when we walked each way!!! So could be 20 min walk!!

Minnie,
Are you totally committed to staying at the Krystal? If not, then check out Vallartaonline.com I found that to be the best rate for Canto del Sol. Stay 4 nights and only pay for 3…great deal, even for a single room!!! If the wedding party is staying at CdS, then stay there too…it’ll be much easier and more comfortable. It’s my favorite hotel in PV. Another really close by hotel is the Villas Vallarta, which is just across the drive way, and a bit more quite. They are sister hotels so you can use both resorts. Check out their web site, CantodelSol.com. You can walk to el Centro in about 25 minutes, and both resorts are a great place to stay.
E-mail me directly if you want more detail…I’ve been staying there the last 20+ years.

Minnie, what area did you get for your RCI... if you got in the new Towers you will love it... since the Huricane there have been some improvements of the Krystal... and yet there are spots that still look a little tacky... but you will enjoy it... you can almost walk to the Canto del Sol from the Krystal on the beach... there is a rocky area by Los Tulos that gets a little iffy... but a friend our ours walked to town this way a couple of times...

have a great time in Vallarta... you are going to love her... she is a beautiful city with a lot of wonderful people....
