Just wondering if anyone can give me tips with regard to this hotel. We are booked for all inclusive...just wondering what that includes. Any info on the hotel rooms, some better some worse, the beach, the beach club. What should we know before we get there...leaving in a week!

There is no beach. So it is best if you just use the pool. The Marina district is nice but you are not on the Marina Boardwalk so you probably will want to travel by bus for your entertainment outside the hotel. Closest beach is south of the Marine Cruise Ship Terminal, 15 minute walk.
Howard Johnson PV
kcowan is correct; the Howard Johnson has no beach, but here are two
possibilities. Across the street from HJ PV is the Westin hotel and next to
it is the Mayan Place. Between the two properties is a driveway leading
to the Nikki Beach restaurant and the beach. My wife and I use this
driveway all the time to enter the Westin property.
Possibility #2 . Have the Front Desk at the HJ PV call the Westin, Melia,
or Pacifico for permission to cross their properties to the beach.
