you have come to the right spot for information... it is loaded for sure... all you have to ask... we have been going to PV for 12 yrs now... and there are a lot of others out on this board from first timers to totally native people that have been coming down for 25 yrs or more.... so just remember the only dumb question is the one that is not asked....

We found that transfers booked in advance all ran about $30 per person. So it was cheaper to just get a taxi at the airport then you also do not have to waste time stopping at other resorts on the way to yours making it faster.

We booked a City tour through this sight that was very good and if you do it the day after you arrive you get a good sense of the town and how to get around. It did take much longer than the 3 hours that the site says, but a lot of that was because our guide was very good at throwing extra things in that people wanted to see or do. It was a very small group only 6 of us so we actually had some say in where we went.
