Re:Information about Club Velas Vallarta
We have not stayed at this resort. We are reserved to stay here on 2-11-05. We have stayed at the Playa De Oro during 2-1997. We have also spent 1 day in PV during our Carnival Cruise in 2-2001. We like PV and are looking forward to going back. We are also RCI and we just made our exchange yesterday. When are you going to PV.

Velas is a lovely resort, located at the marina & accessible by local buses. the dining choices at the marina get better all the time. first class choice.

Do they offer all inclusive?
Re:Information about Club Velas Vallarta
Yes, you can get AI. It is fairly costly if I recall correctly.

Per RCI website, the all-inclusive is $90/person per day.
Re:Information about Club Velas Vallarta
It will positively blow your mind!!! We have been owners there for two years. When we first purchased we thought we would never go to the same place twice however after our first visit to PV we felt like we were just getting our bearings about town and there was still so much that we hadn`t seen that we opted to return last year. When greeted by the same friendly staff and hanging with Alex the activity director we realized the reason people go back is the sense of family is so welcoming. The rooms are luxurious, the food is outstanding, and the staff goes out of their way to help you. Make sure you look up Papa Miguel and Son Miguel the vendors on the beach are the nicest fellas, be generous they are kind people. Hope you have a great stay
Re:Information about Club Velas Vallarta
As RCI members, must we pay for all inclusive or can we \"pay as we go\"? $90 per person per day seems a bit expensive to me. IS it really worth it? Will we have a choice?
Re:Information about Club Velas Vallarta
I would just like to clarify. Club Velas is not a mandatory all-inclusive?
Re:Information about Club Velas Vallarta
We had thought about staying there but according to the website on RCI, this is a mandatory all-inclusive, and for the weeks that we wanted to use in March, the all-inclusive would have been $125.00 per day per person, which is way to costly for a few people in our party. We would much rather eat out on the economy.
