I stayed there with my family last fall, a month after the hurricane and we all loved the place. I think we are going back again this fall. Everything I have read recently leads me to believe it is still a very nice hotel. What have you heard that makes you nervous about going there? The hotel is not a super deluxe Westin type property, but is more typical Mexican if that is a concern to some guests. The grounds are spacious, nice and relaxing. There are a number of good pools and the beach is fine.

I have heard that if you are all inclusive you are treated like lesser citizen. There have been a few reports of dirty pools and that the rooms were not kept up (maintainenance) and that they were pretty filthy. I am glad that you had a positive experience.
