Dont reconsider. This is an awesome resort. We will be down at the beginning of August with our 2 boys, 10 & 11. We have been to Mexico many times, Cabo, Cancun, Huatulco, Ixtapa and of course PV . This is about our 12th trip to this resort. Needless to say, we love it. We come by ourselves, at least once a year. It is very romantic. It is also great to bring the kids. Our kids love it there. The beach is small...but he service remains impeccable. The wait staff are awesome and everyone goes out of there way to please. We have tried so many different places and we always say....we should have gone back to La Jolla De Mismaloya. I spoke with the hotel a week ago and they advised they are redoing the entire 2 nd tower rooms. We are reniting the Presidential suite, as we always do when we take the kids. Dont know what the new rooms are like, but sure they are great. Enjoy...

Thanks for the response. Now I am looking forward to my trip even more. Me and my wife will be celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary and she wants to go the a restaurant call Le Kliff. Have you by chance been there? Any tips on that restaurant?

Our 2 eating experiences at LaCliff were wonderful, the view is incredible at sunset, atmosphere is 2nd to none, there was a wonderful Brazilian trio playing nice nice music for dinners. Our food was great, we had the seafood sampler with all different kinds of seafood and they served in on a lit habachi type grill right at your table, which they left so your food was hot hot and stayed hot. It is an extremely romantic place for an anniversary dinner. Enjoy.

Great place nice as always, we were there 3 months ago. You might also think about Girasol SUr a private condo, about 4 mile beofre you get to mismaoya. I can give you the name of someone to rent from if you would like the information. This is not all inculsive

At this point I am counting the days. What else should we see or do whlie we are there?

I heard something about that. I will definitely order it. Thanks for the advise.

One of the best restaurants in the Puerto Vallarta is called \"El Panorama\" located in the upper floor of the Siesta Hotel. It has one of the best views of Puerto Vallarata and their shrimp \"Shrimp El Panorama\" is the biggest and best tasting ever. Very romantic place. I promiss you will love it too!
