La Jolla de Mismaloya Resort Beach closed

|Was in Mismaloya last week and it could be one of two things. People told us not to swim near where the river comes in due to the sewage and the possibility of a rash. The other thing is that they lost a big part of their patio or boardwalk due the pounding of the waves. They were using jack hammers to break up the remnant pieces of cement. So they may have the beach closed for the construction.
The sewage thing is real, but I never noticed it when I was there as being a problem. Keep in mind this was just a day trip we took there so I am only assuming that either of these things have closed the beach. Note: if you like horseback riding in the jungle take the horse tour from under the bridge in Mismaloya at Rancho Capoma.

Thanks for the post -- we are heading that way in the next couple of weeks and was seriously considering that side of the bay....maybe not now...
