Can anyone give me an opinion on this place? We are thinking of going there Spring Break (March-93). We have two girls, ages 9 & 10, so are interested in a place that is away from Spring Break partying and offers a fun kids club.

MY HUSBAND AND I STAYED AT THE LAJOLLA JAN. 2001 AND LOVED IT. ALL ROOMS ARE SUITES, SOME HAVE SMALL KITCHEN AREA IF THATS WHAT YOU WANT, WE DID NOT, ON VACATION I DO NOT WANT TO SEE A STOVE & REFRIGERATOR, BUT TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN, IT MAY BE A GOOD IDEA. THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD, NICE WINES WITH DINNER. IN MY OPINION, IT SEEMED THAT ALOT OF THE GUEST WERE FINANCIALLY WELL OFF, NANNYS TO WATCH THEIR CHILDREN AND SUCH. IT WAS MUCH MORE LOW KEY THAN OTHER PLACES WE HAVE STAYED IN PV.

Hey we are far from well off and we have stayed there twice. But as I said it would be a nice place to go, to get away from the spring breakers!!!

Great place and a great staff. I was there about 3yrs ago and was very happy. Anthonys restraunt across the street is a great place, directions go across the street to the little village and start walking a kid will come and take you to the restaraunt, tip them a $1 and enjoy your meal. Also my other tip 2 pepto bismo tablets a day for 5days before you leave.
