You just show up and enjoy! You do not need to tip, this was included in your package price and it should not affect your service in the slightest bit. Some people leave \"small gifts\" to their housecleaning lady when they leave (bottles of American shampoos, lotions, etc. they love), but again, it is not expected. Your hotel will have a reservation policy regarding the a la carte restaurants and how often you can eat there will depend on how full the hotel is at the time. I am not sure how far your hotel is from downtown so that will depend on if you want to walk - but do go downtown for sightseeing, nightlife, and shopping - it is a wonderful town and you really get good feel for more of the culture. Have a great time!

Have just got back from Las Palmas enjoyed it very much, hotel is good for 3 star, very friendly staff, excellent entertainment. A la carte is also very good, you just book 1 meal per week. The sun beds were all broken but hopefull for you they should be replaced this week. Rooms are very clean and linen changed daily. Everyone seems to be having a great time at Las Palmas hope you do too.

I did not think the front staff was friendly either.
The poolside chairs were still suitable to sit in even though they are still broken.
You should tip at the hotel. Mexican minimum wage is only $5 a day.
The dancers especially get paid poorly since they eat and live at the hotel.
