My brother has invited us to stay with him and his wife for a week in January. I think he said the name of the condo is Las Palmas. Does anyone know what it is like or where I can find a website about it?
Also, what is the best site to use to get the most inexpensive flights to PV from Portland, OR.?
I believe Las Palmas is in the
Hotel Zone. We stay at Los Tules right next door most of the time, and have stayed at Las Palmas, prior to Kenna. The resort is nice, not a 5 star, but fun. The beach was damaged by Kenna, so there is little left. The restaurant has been totally renovated including the two pools. I believe it is almost entirely AI. Some great waiters there, including Pedro who has been there 16 years. It used to be quite the place for shows and entertainment at night, but lately seems to be having trouble getting things going again. We have many memories of fun times on their beach, prior to Kenna. All in all you should have a good time, food good and staff is very gracious. Hope this helps.
