Las Palmas Reviews

Hi, we are booked this year in April 1-15 to stay at the Las Palmas Resort....it looks like a nice resort so we decided to try it.

If there is anyone who has stayed there who can share both good and bad points about the resort... it would be appreciated. Not that it really changes our plans now as we are booked.... but it helps me know what to expect. :lol:

I have a soft spot for the Las Palmas Resort. :)
We stayed there last Oct. and we were also at the Las Palmas during Kenna.
The Resort is small and quite a friendly place. The rooms are clean. The food was Ok but I think that there could be an improvement.
Some of the beach area has come back since Kenna but not like it was pre Kenna.

I would rate the Resort as a 3 star although they say 4. What does the star really mean. :?

A friend described the Resort this way...What Las Palmas lacks in amenities it makes up for friendliness and spirit.
I like the way that fellow vacationers get together at Las Palmas and become friends for life.

The evening stage shows are good.

We have several friends that would go back to the Las Palmas without a doubt. I would go back to LP too and will one day but next trip to PV we would like a change.

I have heard very few complaints about Las Palmas Resort.
The Price at LP is right for what you get. :)

Just a suggestion. I would not swim in the Ocean by the Resort. :P

Your LP hot tub description sounds inviting. :P Yuck!
I never used the hot tub in PV. Can not image getting into steaming hot water even when in the eve the temp cools down slighly.
Now cool refreshing water is a different story.

LP.. boss If you read this it seems everyone is agreeing on the food at your Resort. Might take the hint please. :)

I didnt find the food to bad at LP except for the snack bar food. I only had a few meals there but I didnt enjoy it to much. but other than that I loved the place. The staff were awsome, entertaiment was awsome, just a really friendly place. And to the person who mentioned the parrots, I actually found them relaxing lol.
