Las Palmas - Should we stay??

My boyfriend and I are planning to stay at the Las Palmas April 2nd - 10th. Has anyone been by the Las Palmas recently? I know they are planning to reopen here soon - so if anyone will be staying there - could you let me know your thoughts? How is the beach in front of the property? Thanks!

My girlfriend and I were due to stay at the Las Palmas on 16/03/2003, but have since been offered the Vista De oro by the holiday company as the Las Palmas is still \"too dangerous\" for guests. What was the De Oro like?

FIRST CHOICE HOLIDAYS HAVE TOLD ME THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is open but there is a massive crane on the beach and no pool. First choice are offering alternative accommodation.

I go on the 6th April, and they havent offered my anything else!!!!!!!
