I heard that Las Palmas would be open Dec 20 but you must have a later report. We are going to PV on Nov 20 (obviously saying somewhere else) amd will check out the situation. We are scheduled to go toLas Palmas about 19 Jan. --Joan

I read a post on another site that Las Palmas was severely damaged...took the biggest hit. The last date I saw for reopening was January 5. I understand there is going to be a structual assessment of some hotels in the next week or so.
We are booked into Las Palmas January 7, so I am watching the situation very carefullly. Travel agents and tour companies are not helpful. I get more consistent information from the message boards.

i have been in PV , 6 days after the hurrican , and stayed there till 12 november, and i was booked for the Las palmas , but changed hotel to qualton hotel.
during the days i was ther i visited the las palmas (after 10 days) and at the las palmas it was still a big mess , i have 3 pictures from las palmas .

We too were booked at Las Palmas for Dec 7-14th also with Signature Vacations and yes, they did offer a full refund to us as well. Our other option was to be put into the Grand Marival in Neuvo which we have taken. We will be going into town and I will be checking into hotel conditions. Am curious to see how Las Palmas actually fared (heard it was hardest hit). I will post when we return.
