Looking for hotel suggestions

Can anyone suggest any all inclusive resort in PV for about 5 families. I was looking at a Funjet book and came across Occidential Grand Nuevo & Grand Marival Nuevo that looked pretty good.....but are there other suggestions? Also what compnay has the lowest price for package deals? Thanks in advance!

We were booked at the Continental Plaza (ugh!!) but ended up at The Qualton. 3 families all had a good time at this resort. Well run and fun for the whole family.

My wife and I stayed at the Solare in Nuevo Vallarta in Feb 2000 and are returning in two weeks. My travel brochures show the Solare and Grand Marival to be the same price. We preferred the Solare as it has 180 room vs about 600. When we stayed the first time, we met a couple that were overbooked at the Solare and had to stay at the then Allegro( Occidental). They stayed one night, then returned to the Solare. They advised that there was no comparing the two. I recently read on this BB that someone stayed at the Occidental and felt that it was time for a facelift. Please feel free to email if you like, gcbonneau@hotmail.com
