Los Tules

I called Los Tules directly & they are closed for about 2 weeks, my trip was cancelled but you should be fine.

We were at Los Tules when Kenna hit. The bottom rooms on every building (even the back ones) had damage. Our room was on the second floor and it was fine. We had a little water come in around the window, but that was all. That round building directly on the beach (the one marked private) was our saving grace! A wave went completly over the top of it and came crashing onto the window of our room (which I was standing in front of at the time). Saturday 10/26, they had already started getting things cleaned up. The flowers, bushes, and trees took a beating. Any of them that cannot handle salt water getting on them will be gone. There were only a couple of palm trees that had fallen over that we saw though. We would have finished our trip there if they would have been able to get the power and water going. We had heard Monday the power and water had not been restored yet, but they were close to getting that done.
