re Los Tules. Has anyone stayed at this hotel/timeshare in a Studio? Just wondering about the sleeping arrangements (size of beds, comfort) etc. I also understand they have full kitchens?? Please PM with any info.
Los Tules Studios
We have stayed in a 1 bedroom and it was quite nice. Full (but small) kitchen. I expect the studio would have a queen bed and be smaller than the 1 BR but definitely OK ... especially since you spend most of your time outside anyway.

re Los Tules. Has anyone stayed at this hotel/timeshare in a Studio? Just wondering about the sleeping arrangements (size of beds, comfort) etc. I also understand they have full kitchens?? Please PM with any info. The studios have full kitchen, diningroom and bathroom. The bed is a pullout double in the livingroom. There is also a large couch next to the bed, and some units have another sofa bed in the diningroom.
We have a villa (3BR/3 Bath) but stayed in 5-104 for two days at the end of our 3 weeks.
Re: Los Tules
...We were there for 3 days, the grounds are immaculatetly groomed and nice pools. We were given I think the worst room, as we are not timeshare holders, we had to register at other building. We had to climb 53 stairs and to the attic we went. No telephone or radios, the door knob push lock was all there was, no deadbolt or chain or peephole. There was a rug between the 2 double beds that was filthy and thats how small the room was one bed against the wall the other against the window. No table to put your suitcases on. no safety deposit box. you had to use the one at the desk that didnt look like much for security ...Los Tules is actually many different types of lodging. The resort runs a hotel where you can rent by the night with full maid service. As a hotel, the grounds are the biggest feature. There are also timeshare units and these are maintained by the resort. Then there is full-time owners and their units will vary substantially (some are nicer than the other units and others are old - built in 1983). Ground floor units were totally refurbished after the Hurricane in 1Q2003.
You can also rent through Craig and you may get a fulltime unit or a timeshare. You can rent fulltime units from the resort too. So remember to ask about the specifics of what you are getting. Most units are not as nicely appointed as a condo you would rent from an owner. But the location and property are unmatched anywhere else in PV.
Hey there Keith, long time no see. must have taken an extended vacation? good comments on Los Tolus... we walk the beach to this resort and back when we are down at the GCP...
