Marival Resort & Suites

We have a group of approximately 5 couples that are looking at staying at the Marival Resort & Suites next March. Does anyone have any experience at this resort? We are going to be booking via Funjet and they have many nice resorts to pick from but we thought this one looked very nice.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

My wife and I are leaving this Thursday for PVR and will be staying at the Marival. I will let you know our experiences when we get back. We are excited b/c it will be our first trip to Mexico and PVR. We did the all-inclusive so I will comment on that as well. I have heard on this forum/site from people that we will be a ways from downtown PVR, but my opinion is that if you leave in the morning, you will make one trip down and stay there for the sights and then come back at night. Not too worried about the distance. Otherwise we plan on being on the beach soaking up some sun and drinks.

good for you guys... you will love Puerto Vallarta as well as Nuevo Vallarta... we used to stay out there before finding the GCP... We stayed at the Radisson Parisio (Now the Occidental or the Alegro i get confused on these) and then we stayed next door at the Radisson Sierra that was sold that week to the Hotel Sierra chain, which has now changed hands again i think. But the beaches out there are wonderful and the golf at Los Flamingos was perfect for me... Lorrie got her sun time and beach time, and i was on the course by 730 am and off by noon... so it was a win win for us...but now we love it at the GCP and being that much closer to down town for fun and adventure....

im repeat customer to crown club next door to golden crown on south side of marina which is north end of hotel zone walking distance to walmart. my kids are in love with the kids pool and staff there but if i had my way id like somewhere new and have often thot marival might be nice choice. you have a lovely vacation and do return and let us know xoxojennie
