Marriott

My husband and I are coming to PV July 28-Aug.5 and staying at the Marriott and would love feed back on the hotel and what there is around there in the way of things to do, where to eat, where to buy beer and how to get to other good places to hang out and places to eat.

I just came back on Saturday and stayed at the Marriot. It is a beautiful hotel with many activities to do out by the pool area (say hi to Victor for me -activity director). The Marina is across the street and I recommend the spa within the Marina, for $790 pesos we had an 1 massage, a facial and exfoliation, and manicure and pedicure. Very relaxing atmosphere. Porto Bello restaurant is another great little italian restauarant. However, if you want good seafood and great service at a very good price then you would go into the little pueblito of Pitillal. There you will find El Mexicano Seafood. Under a huge hut you will have a great meal for a very good price, then walk 2-3 blocks up and encounter all the shops and the church of Pitillal. The lady at \"El Mexicano\" will guide you in the right direction. Have fun.
