Mayan Palace Nuevo Vallarta

We have read some bad things about some of the Mayan Palaces,
Plan a trip to PV (our fifth).Would like some info about the Mayan P
at Nuevo Vallarta.

I stayed at the Mayan, Nuevo this past December. The resort was beautiful. Everyone on the staff that I had contact with was very polite and helpful. The rooms were great. We did not eat many meals at the resort because we spent most of our time in other locations on the bay. We did eat there a few times and I thought the prices were quite high. There seemed to be activities going on most of the time by the pools. I got the impression that it was a very family orientated resort. The kids there were having a blast, making new friends and with all the activities. The only thing I did not like about the resort was the distance you had to travel to get into town. But if you are visiting for a quite relaxing vacation, it would be great!
