Mayan Palace PV (at the Marina)

Anyone stayed here recently? Can you tell me how your visit was, how were the rooms. We have a 1 bedroom/sleeps 5. Kitchen facilities ok? Was this convenient enough to restaurants, shopping etc. Going in February.

Would you please let me have info on the food and drink prices at the Mayan Palace in Nuevo ?
What is the food like ,varied ,preperation etc.
Are there other reasonable priced restaurants near by?
Are the prices the same at both resorts ?
I have the chance to stay at the Nuevo one thru an RCI exchange and anything you could let me know will help me to make up my mind.

Have never heard anything negative about either Mayan with the exception of the Nuevo branch being too far away and the Full Court press of the Timeshare people there.

Yes, there are safes in the room for which I think there is a weekly charge, dont think its too much but cant remember exactly.
