MELIA VS CROWN PARADISE

I really would appreciate some honest feedback regarding these two hotels. My husband and I are celebrating our 35th anniversary in October. We have been to the Melia and have been happy with the hotel, however we thought we would try something different for this special occassion. We were planning on staying at the CP, however I have heard some people say that it is now worth the extra money and they were dissapointed. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks for the information .The price for air and hotel for the Melia was $699 thru funjet and the CP was $789. We are hoping that the difference in price is worthwhile. I know that the Melia does not have room service and the dining hour s are somewhat limited after 9pm. When our flight came in late, we had to search the marina for something to eat since it was after 10 pm. I appreciate any information that anyone can offer
