Mixed Interests – Where to Stay?

Started November 5, 2005 · 14,494 views · 9 posts
We are planning a 7-day trip to Mexico for June 2006 and are considering PV, two middle aged and three young adults. My wife and I like peace and quite, the kids want nightlife. We all want to be on the beach. Not interested in AI. My wife and I like to explore on foot. Other posts lead me to think we should look in the Romantic Zone. A three-bedroom suite would be ideal. Suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Food for thought
There are several places that advertise right here on the BB. Casa Andrea is one of them. Granted we have never stayed there, but by the looks of their website it looks like a nice property for what you are describing. Also, there are some agencies on this website that advertise various condos in all points of the Downtown, Zona Romantica, and south of town. Rates for all walks of life. Check them out as well.

Good luck...

If you want to do a lot of walking stick to the old part of town. It is very nice to look at with the cobblestone streets and all the old buildings!
Romantic Zone is the ticket. Wonderful places to see and plenty of night life too. I would certainly check into some of the villas that are for rent the rates for many of these are at the low end for the year.
Thanks! If we were to opt for a hotel in the Romantic Zone what would you (or anyone else out there) suggest for a hotel with a nice pool and palapas? Thanks again.

Los Arcos is a nice middle class hotel with lovely pool & is on the Beach ( Muertos) with lots of Palapa Cafes to choose from or use the hotels.
hotel on Playa Los Muertos
Tropicana or Los Arcos are both very nice and right on the beach
