best way to get exchange is ATM, u can also use credit cards where it is accepted ( restaurants, boutiques, bars, etc) American money is the most popular, bring with you some 1-2 $ bills they really appreciate as tip. They supply bags when you shop.... you are not in the jungle :) PV is a big modern city..
