Gabby and stayed at the Canto del Sol first 2 weeks of November. The beach was in excellent shape. 100 yards to the North in front of the Pelicanos not so good.

Glad you liked Las Palmas. We thought the beach okay there, but still nothing like pre-Kenna. Another BBer has been asking about beach at Plaza Pelicanos, hotel just south, and may appreciate your notes on the beach there. (Re:Anyone been to Plaza Pelicanos Recently?) I had posted that Las Plamas and Los Tules wide enough, but you could confirm that Plaza Pelicanos is the worse stretch and no palapas. (And the tides change daily, so \"at night\" is not high tide all the time.) ;)
