More questions about Camino/Dreams

Since Leigh was there just a month ago - I would definitely recommend reading his post(s)... and his link to the pictures - the pics are great - I thought the Dreams had not changed that much since we stayed there 2 yrs. ago when it was Camino R. Maybe we should all start a travel agency and quit our day jobs since we all seem to enjoy reading these posts.....

Just an FYI, we booked our stay at Dreams back in July and are flying out this Saturday (9-18). Well we get a call from the travel agent yesterday that they have closed down the entire club tower next week for renovations! Needless to say, very upsetting news. We had a choice to stay in the old building or switch locations. We opted for a change of venue. Hope this helps anybody who might have similar plans in the near future.

Oh Momadance, where have you decided to stay? We are scheduled to be ther on 9/29. I doubt they will have the club tower reopened by then.

I am planning to stay at Dreams on 9/28 as well! I actually just booked a regular room- so I guess I will just have to wait and see- but I would really welcome any info that anyone may have regarding renovations, etc.... Any info on what renovations have already been conducted and which others are in the works would be greatly appreciated. For example, will the public areas/pools/restaurants be under construction? I too may choose another venue if that is the case....
